"The Internet Song," originally independently released in January 2021, was Ben's first official full length song. Based on his viral TikTok jingle from August 2020, Ben expanded the catchy melody from a 6 second relatable jingle to a full length song. Upon release, the song generated more than 100,000 streams in the first month, landed placement on Spotify's "Teen Beats" editorial playlist, and was re-licensed in late February to the London-based record label, frtyfve. Ben also released an accompanying and equally comedic music video on YouTube. The song was co-produced with John McLucas, features Sameer Shankar on bass and FoolishFrankie on sax, and the cover-art was by Ben.
